SNMP does work on the iSeries.  Just requires a little VooDoo ;-)

If we look at the issue as a whole, this problem is not going to be a
rattler and shaker.  However, if the underlying architecture of SSL and
SNMP is flawed, we need to understand the weakness and take the
appropriate measures.
