I have a laptop computer that automatically senses and adjusts
for 50/60 Hz and 110/220 V differences. For $7 I bought a set
of "front" plugs at Radio Shack. With that I can plug my machine
in anywhere in the world (and I have tried most of the them!).
All this work well and there is not reason that an entry box can't do
the same.
