What attributes do you change on a routine basis?
And there's nothing stopping a display or printer file DDS from referring
to a physical or logical defined with either SQL or DDS.

I don't think UDT's are a exact replacement for the Refer process.
I can Refer to a field and change any attribute I want on the new field.
and many other things that UDT's do not provide.
If you still have to use Printer Files or Display files you can't
just do a REF(xxx) with UDT's
