I think this solution would cover both questions.  Why not change the
400's SMTP to relay its mail to the NT server.

CHGSMTPA   MAILROUTER('SMTP.RELAY')    FIREWALL(*YES)

Make sure that the name "smtp.relay" can be resolved from the 400, either
in the local host table or in you local dns.

You will have to start/stop smtp and msf for the change to take effect.

I basically have two questions:
1. how do we let the outside world know that the Iseries is a valid e-mail
server?
2. Is there any way for the iSeries, when sending a message, make the
e-mail address appear like it is coming from our notes server?
