Hello Kathleen,

A possiblity is to use the FTP client programme TransSoft FTP Control, an FTP
client with a scripting language.
This scripting language allows you to (un)zip files, send messages, select
files to process locally and remote, schedule scripts, make executables of
scripts, a lot.

This programme seems to fulfil your requirements. It is shareware and sells
under $50. You can try it for 30 days.

Beware: I am testing the programme itself, not the vendor.

Regards.
