NETSTAT and option 3 or NETSTAT *CNN will show you the ports in use and
the name of the service using the port. The names are cryptic but
decipherable.

OpsNav will show a list of TCP servers and host servers.

Our product ONcmd has WRKTCPSVR, WRKHOSTSVR, WRKNFSSVR, WRKHTTPSVR,
WRKSMBSVR commands that show work-with lists of all servers and allows you
to start, stop and configure them if you are suitably authorised. You can
also see a list of server jobs including the current profile for the users
connected to the servers. See http://www.flybynight.com.au/oncmd.html for
more information.

Regards,
Simon Coulter.
