I am not sure... we just restored original update with no patches. Still no go... next is the old original. -----Original Message----- From: alan shore [mailto:SHOREA@dime.com] Sent: Tuesday, September 24, 2002 3:23 PM To: midrange-l@midrange.com Subject: Re: Help! SPLTOOL process problems Sorry about my previous tranmission ?--- fat finger syndrome If .... "The only thing that has changed is SPLTOOL has been updated to the latest version." .. and assuming the older version worked, the suspect MUST be the latest version of SPLTOOL. Can you revert to the older version of SPLTOOL? and assuming this works, you need to revisit the latest version of SPLTOOL. Are you sure that "The only thing that has changed is SPLTOOL has been updated to the latest version." >>> "Wills, Mike N. (TC)" <MNWills@taylorcorp.com> 09/24/02 04:11PM >>> The reason I am posting to the list is because I am sure it is not a SPLTOOL problem but a program problem. History: We use SPLTOOL to send out all of our financial and payroll reports. These reports are made automatically by the job by a "wrapper program". Problem: Well, the PDF files that are being sent out by the payroll machine is sending empty PDF files. The reason I don't think it is SPLTOOL is because it works when I use SPLTOOL manually. Also, if I run the wrapper program in interactive mode, it works fine (the exact same call). The only thing that has changed is SPLTOOL has been updated to the latest version. The wrapper program does work when: We run in interactively on our workstation (green-screen) We do a SBMJOB of the command from our workstation (green-screen) The wrapper program does NOT work when: We run in the normal process Any ideas will be VERY greatly appreciated!
