It isn't that. We have tested this. What it turned out to be is I think security, but I don't know why. I think it can't grab the length of the spool file. When we passed in the length it worked. I have adjusted my program so it passes the length of the spool file. Now it runs fine. -----Original Message----- From: fiona.fitzgerald@notes.royalsun.com [mailto:fiona.fitzgerald@notes.royalsun.com] Sent: Wednesday, September 25, 2002 4:42 AM To: midrange-l@midrange.com Subject: Re: Help! SPLTOOL process problems Mike, Could it be that the program isn't selecting the right splf number ? If you work interactively, it's intuitive to select the right one, but the pgm might miss it. That's if you're sending splfs, of course. I set up several wrappers for downloads and the tricky part was getting the parms to match the interactive selections they replaced. I would compare joblogs for all parameters. Hope you get sorted soon, Fiona fiona.fitzgerald@notes.royalsun.com _______________________________________________ This is the Midrange Systems Technical Discussion (MIDRANGE-L) mailing list To post a message email: MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, visit: http://lists.midrange.com/cgi-bin/listinfo/midrange-l or email: MIDRANGE-L-request@midrange.com Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives at http://archive.midrange.com/midrange-l.
