The screen-print functionality (under File|Print Screen and File|Printer Setup) is part of Client Access, and Windows. The AS/400 is not involved at that point. For printing from the AS/400, it doesn't "know" your computer has a printer attached, thus the need to create a "printer session" on the PC.
