Just a couple of general travel notes I live by. 1. Extended Stay whenever possible. I like Extended Stay America, although there are others. Nice room with refrigerator and stove, but no restaurant, bar or pool. Continental breakfast. Usually around $45-60/night, $200-350/week. They have computer data ports, but I haven't had an opportunity to use them. 2. Embassy Suites. Usually a few more amenities than Extended Stay. In general, a restaurant, bar, pool and fitness center. Cooked breakfast. Little things like gift shops, ATMs and so on. Generally around $150/night. 3. After that, it's family chains. I like Holiday Inn and Best Western, although care must be taken. For example, the Newark Airport Best Western is likely not to meet your standards, unless your standards have something to do with eluding Federal authorities. Joe
