Srinath, I would strongly recommend some training in Synon before you venture too far. There is a learning curve to Synon that can be from about 3 weeks to several months depending on the aptitudes (and attitudes!) of the individual. A bit of formal training can save you a lot of trial and error. Synon is worth the effort! (IMHO) You mentioned that you need to change a lot of things in the Synon-generated code. You really should make your changes within Synon. Modifying the generated code outside of Synon? Don't go there! With some training you'll understand what you can do in Synon. You can do most everything you need to within the model.
