QZRDSNTP is the sbs that the IBM time sync job runs in. At a previous company I worked for we used this, it updated time every 5 minutes. No problems in 3 years other than when going to V5R1 the system generated a false "backplane failure" right after a time sync, an APAR was opened and a PTF was issued to fix the problem. jch -----Original Message----- From: Leif Svalgaard [mailto:leif@leif.org] Sent: Friday, October 25, 2002 10:31 AM To: midrange-l@midrange.com Subject: Re: With the upcoming time change.... This function would probably not work anymore if you constantly adjust the system time up or down by small amounts. _______________________________________________ This is the Midrange Systems Technical Discussion (MIDRANGE-L) mailing list To post a message email: MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, visit: http://lists.midrange.com/cgi-bin/listinfo/midrange-l or email: MIDRANGE-L-request@midrange.com Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives at http://archive.midrange.com/midrange-l.
