Doug,

Put in a VRYCFG for the *NWS in your UPS shutdown routine. This will tell
Win2K to do an orderly shutdown. If you watch the WinDOHs screen while you
vary off the *NWS you'll see the server do it's normal shutdown routine.

The alternative is that it'll just fail when OS/400 goes away.

I have a UPS that is communicating nicely with my AS/400. I am also running
WIN2K on the Integrated Netfinity Server. I haven't had any power issues
yet... does the AS/400 tell the WIN2K to shut down nicely automatically or
do I need to put something in the USP shut down sequence to shut down WIN2K
first.

TIA
