Same here, Rob.  Really, I was taken aback by the heat I generated.  One
would have thought some of my other comments more likely to do so.  I
suppose it was a bit of protectiveness for the newcomer.

Part of what triggered my response is that these folks are dumping the
AS/400, yet the place Brad comes to get help is an AS/400 mailing list.  If
that doesn't strike you as ironic, then you are missing the irony gene in
your DNA <grin>.

Anyway, apologies to Brad, whom I might have upset but whom I never called a
jerk, and to Michael and Rob, thanks for your vigilance on checking the warm
and fuzzy factor of my posts.

For all who understood that my posts were not meant to be demeaning, but
merely pointing out the obvious, thanks for saying so.

And to one and all, Merry Christmas.  You want stress?  I just realized that
my suits are at the cleaners.  Not only that, I quit smoking 30 days ago and
the only decent dress casual slacks I have don't fit (causal relationship
there?  You bet...).  So I'm going shopping on Christmas Eve to buy slacks
<laughing>.
