Hi Rob -

You're the boss.  But I had posted one 12/27.  Which effectively means it
had activity long since open source or security had any activity.

You could set up a free email group just for your user group at http://groups.yahoo.com/

You could make the group for just announcements or a full discussion group. You could restrict the group to require membership by invitation/approval only so as to avoid the spamming problems in Yahoo! groups.

There will be ads inserted at the bottom of messages, but they are not overly instrusive.
