Hi Rob -

How many people in my area read this list?  Quite a few.  Nontech?  Lots
less, if any.

And how many people read this list who are no place close to your area and do not want to see local announcements on here?

I get frustrated enough by the people who post messages that start off "I know this is off topic for this list but ...". Please don't add to it.

OTOH, if the user group has a website you could put a link to it at the bottom of your messages posted here, just as I have to a link below to my personal website.
