Neil,

  There is always the rule that the version you are loading MUST support all 
the hardware in the partition and this always includes the processor. So for 
the new hardware (800, i180, i825, i870, i890) you must have V5R2 (February 
release with February CUME) in ALL partitions. Yes you could theoretically put 
V5R3 in there were it a real product that we could get our hands on.

  Otherwise the rule still applies.
