Jerry,

It would seem from this that your CD-ROM isn't happy or the CD you have in there (labled correctly or not) isn't believed by the system to be a valid SLIC CD.

Did you run the 'Prepare for upgrade' option on the LICPGM menu? That would have at least verified that all the right stuff existed.

Next I guess I'd test the CD-ROM drive.

Then I'd put something too heavy on the tray and call 1-800-IBM-SERV ;-)
