Why is there a dedicated operator for these messages? It may be overkill and costs $, but we are happy users of Messenger Plus (http://www.bytware.com/), that can monitor QSYSOPR and any other message queue, automatically answer messages, escalate messages to a pager or list of pagers (alpha, numeric, cell phone). Get the operator off the screen and doing something productive! Let the system notify him/her when interesting things happen.
