<<Why is there a dedicated operator for these messages? It may be overkill and costs $, but we are happy users of Messenger Plus> Yes I am very aware of what Messanger Plus can do. I used it at my last employer. It was great. But I look at it this way, why should I send them the messages when I can have it send me the messages or email, thus eliminating the help desk all together. I come from shops that didnt have helpdesk personnel. The systems administrator did it all. I've monitored from 49 to 365 systems. This is the second company that I have ever worked for that had one. So that was a cultural shock in itself. Anything else you want them to monitor for, they can, cept the 400's. Why, because its to simple to monitor for and they dont know how to handle it.
