According to the handbook:

On the main chassis:          On the 7177

CD-ROM             |           TAPE4      
TAPE2              |           TAPE3
TAPE1              |

Soooo, I would put it under/over the slots for tape2/tape1
but you might get better performance on a seperate IOP on
the 7177. Total tape count is 0-4
