The number and length of the key fields varies wildly, but at times
exceeds what FMTDTA can handle. The problem I have with your suggestion
is that no LF exists so I would have to first write DDS to create it,
compile it, then RGZPFM, and finally blow away the LF. Again, the
sorting is only known at run-time.
