Guys, 

Literally, this is a request from a lazy or efficient (take your pick; I pick 
efficient)
programmer.  Why the WRKQRY command has no command line parameters is beyond me.

Rob, this is mostly a query maintenance issue.  I don't actually run most of 
these queries.

Yes, I am aware of the QM queries.  I have converted *qrydfn's to these in the 
past.  Currently, I
would face resistance (and I have too many battles to fight now that I don't 
need to add another)
to doing this since we have a policy of "support LCD" (Least Common 
Denominator).  Yes, LCD, the
arch-enemy of the technically frustrated.  :-(

Also, some of the queries I support eventually get maintained by endusers, so 
that precludes QM
queries right there.  Besides, if I *really* had my druthers (and had to choose 
between qmqry and
sql), I'd just convert the *qrydfn's to SQL.  Our shop is on a path to learning 
SQL beyond simple
selects, as I hear the next Lawson version is heavy on SQL.

Bill, you are so right on with the ugly qmqry output.  In the past, I have had 
to change a working
*qrydfn to a qmqry, and the users hated it so much it ended up getting trashed 
for an RPG program!
