Try Mark's idea, especially if you are tabbing or moving through your display. I've set up displays so that a calendar window opens up right off the bat to force the user to select a date or date range from the calendar. Once entered then the rest of the display appears for them and is ready to collect the rest of the data. That's just a matter of a program call first time through. -----Original Message----- From: MWalter@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:MWalter@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Wednesday, July 02, 2003 2:33 PM To: Midrange Systems Technical Discussion Subject: Re: Display question You may want to look at the CHECK(ER) attribute. This will cause return to your program when the field is field exited. Thanks, Mark Mark D. Or a way to execute a command, call or whatever, without having a to press enter or a command key? I thought there was a way to do that.
