When I've had to run things thru a custom precompiler routine, I've always
just used X, Y, and Z, based on my needs.

Subject: RE: overriding IBM's options on PDM
It sure doesn't look like it:
Message . . . . : Option 14 is reserved for PDM.
Cause . . . . . : All numeric options in the range of 00 to 99 are
reserved
by PDM and cannot be used as a user-defined option.
Recovery . . . : Specify a different option value.

Subject: overriding IBM's options on PDM
At v5r2... Has anyone figured out if it's possible to override the PDM
numeric options that IBM has preset? I.e., option 14 to compile, I'd love
to hijack that so I can use my precompiler instead of having to remember
some alpha code.
TIA, GA
