We had the audit some time ago.  Basically we try to do things up-and-up.
They were just trying to see how we adhered to per user pricing.  Since we
break each of our divisions into separate libraries, with different owners,
like SSA01, SSA02, etc and thus have different user profiles, ROB01, ROB02,
etc we had to do a bit of explaining.  But they were cool.

Your situation sounds totally different.  You should have removed their
software and started from scratch.
