Do you know if the file transfer allows for transferring files from the IFS? I could only see where it asks for a library name not a directory name? -----Original Message----- From: midrange-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:midrange-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Booth Martin Sent: Thursday, November 13, 2003 11:21 AM To: midrange-l@xxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: Re: How to access the IFS without TCPIP Bosanova emulation has a file transfer built in. It is fairly simple to use, especially if the file is externally described. It's been awhile since I did it but it is straight forward and simple. --------------------------------------------------------- Booth Martin http://www.MartinVT.com Booth@xxxxxxxxxxxx --------------------------------------------------------- -------Original Message------- From: Midrange Systems Technical Discussion Date: 11/13/03 08:54:18 To: 'Midrange Systems Technical Discussion' Subject: How to access the IFS without TCPIP I have a customer that is running an Advanced 36 (model 436) and is not using TCPIP, they are using BosaNova for their 5250 emulation (twinax card). They have a CSV file in the IFS that they would like to either access from their PC or copy to their PC. I am not familiar with the BosaNova emulation or the Advanced 36 Does anyone have any suggestions how this could be accomplished John _______________________________________________ This is the Midrange Systems Technical Discussion (MIDRANGE-L) mailing list To post a message email: MIDRANGE-L@xxxxxxxxxxxx To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, visit: http://lists.midrange.com/mailman/listinfo/midrange-l or email: MIDRANGE-L-request@xxxxxxxxxxxx Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives at http://archive.midrange.com/midrange-l.
