I'm confused about the ASCII to EBCDIC translation table. Please help. x'5D' --> in ASCII is display as ] x'5D' --> QTCPEBC table translated it to x'BD' --> display on AS400 as " x'5D' --> QEBCDIC table translated it to x'5A' --> display on AS400 as ! Why is IBM provide tables that do not match the ASCII character?
