I talked with someone at Rochester this morning.

The problem seems to be with the latest Cume package released between
9/02/04 and 9/09/04, and will "bite you" if you do NOT have anything
plugged into HMC Port 1 on a 520 or 570 and V5R3.

Luckily for us, the cume package we had was cut on 8/30/04, so we just
missed it!

Nice to see IBM being diligent. Just pasted it here in case the person at
your company who ordered it might be out, or otherwise not tell you that
IBM called.

IBM called me and asked me if I was going to apply the hiper group that I
downloaded this week. I told them not until next week. They suggested
that I download the new hiper group, after it gets updated next week.
Apparently there's some issues with the current hiper group.

Have a nice weekend.
