Those things (cumes) are huge to download even with a good T1 connection
they can take quite a while.

I started a download the other day and wound up cancelling because of the
time and resources it was taking.

In fact, in order to save money on shipping and handling, I'd be surprised
if IBM did anything that didn't help to encourage the ftp method.

Speaking of PTF's, has anyone heard anything about getting them on DVD
instead of 4 CD's?  Now that we have a machine with a DVD drive I was
hoping
they would send them that way.
