Hi Roger, I checked the IBM Manual "iSeries Printer Device Programming Version 5 - SC41-5713-06", which is for OS/400 Release V5R3. The Host Print Transform limitation list in the manual included the color printing capabilities used by IPDS printers. Thus host print transform of *AFPDS data at V5R3 does not yet appear to support the color printing you have described in your posting. In terms of the Simm/Dimm market for adding IPDS capabilities to HP LaserJet Color Printers, EuroForm (http://www.euroform.com) has a webex demo of how their IPDS 100 product would work in an HP 4650. I believe that MPI Tech (http://www.mpitech.com) also has color support in their Simm/Dimm product line for HP LaserJet printers as well.
