Put your AS400 on the network using Ethernet and TCP/IP.  Change your ICF to
TCP/IP and get rid of the middle men.  You can also configure your AS400 to
run Anynet which allows you to run ICF over TCP/IP.  Apparently that is what
the server on the other end is doing or your other server is connected the
save as the AS400?  Please diagram out your connection in more detail so we
can offer suggestions.

got a question about protocol

A typical setting is AS400 connection to a router that converts x.25 to ip.
On the remote side, a router then convert it back to x.25.

What we try to do is to get rid of the remote side router.  Is this
possible?
Another word, client is taking x.25 and server is talking ip.  Using Cisco
router as a way to convert the protocol.
