I think I should mention that the new configuration is working because when I use ibm's STRITF command, it seems to be able to communicate with the terminal just find. However, in my application, I'm receiving the same data that I sent to terminal. I'm thinking that STRITF can handle echoing. My app is not written to handle it. But my question is that what is causing the echoing? -----Original Message----- From: midrange-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:midrange-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx]On Behalf Of Lim Hock-Chai Sent: Thursday, December 30, 2004 2:30 PM To: Midrange Systems Technical Discussion Subject: RE: echo back problem Note: What we try to do is get rid of the remote router without any programming change.
