Agreed, but there must be something better than PDF.  The files are
relatively large and take too long to open.  Then again, that may be the
Acrobat Reader's fault rather than the format.

Just so you know, there is a free reader available for Word documents,
though it only runs on Windows.

I just think that PDF is not tied to a proprietary format like Word.  You
can download a free PDF reader for Windows, Mac, etc.
