We are already using a *PSFCFG on the printer devd... I just didn't think
to look there!
I can see the 'release timer' field there now and will give that a try.

You need to make use of a *PSFCFG object.
GO CMDPSFCFG.
On the device description, assign the PSF configuration you created above
via the USRDFNOBJ param.
*IPDS printers should normally always have a PSF config object assigned.
