Loyd, Check out the Generate Data Definition Language API (QSQGNDDL) found in the Database & File APIs. This API can retrieve the SQL DDL (CREATE TABLE, CREATE VIEW and such) for any file even if created using DDS. Use this API on the Synon files then strip out the field prefixes from the SQL source. With some modifications that SQL could be used in Enterprise manager. I've got a RTVSQLSRC CMD/CL front end for this API that might be helpful. Would be happy to post the source or maybe someone could offer to host it for download. Paul
