Hey, related to this with batch program speeds. Turn off XML if you are not using portal. This drasically speeds up batch programs. Add the following to the bottom of your lajs.cfg file: XMLREPORTS OFF /* Performance or XML Reports */ What Lawson does is after the batch job is complete it "precompiles" an XML version of the report for the portal. If you don't use portal, you shouldn't have to waste the CPU to create this XML document. Also, I am working on a document with everything I have learned from the upgrade and performance here ( http://mikewills.name/archives/2005/06/22/lawson_upgrade_tips_and_tricks.php). This isn't complete, but is a start. I have more tips, I just haven't compiled them all together. (I am sure work doesn't want me to blog all day ;-) ) Perhaps I should put together a performance article as well?
