Hi Kirk, My suggestions if I was facing this challenge: 1. Since the customer already owns iSeries Access, I would suggest creating PC5250 printer sessions that converted the data from EBCDIC to ASCII at the PC without using Host Print Transform. This idea only works when all spool files to be printed are *SCS format though. Under this scenario, the conversion uses the Windows print driver for the target printer, which usually results in better margin control. 2. If there was a need for both AFP & SCS spool file conversion, then you must use host print transform. You don't want the no print border to be larger so you should consult document #86256C2007D0DCE for assistance. As you mention, it is unclear whether a PCL 3 based DeskJet will honor the command to offset the page registration upwards or not (most likely you will need to perform a test to find out). 3. If point #2 doesn't work, try inserting the PCL sequence to start printing at row zero into the WSCST Initialize Printer Sequence instead.
