Hi, Thanks a lot for all the answers. It means that doing an IPL D without putting a LIC CD in the optical drive is not possible in my case because my tape drive is not on bus 1. So I must insert this CD and specify that my tape drive is an installation unit, if I want to install microcode and OS from the tape. Is it right ? Regards. As pointed out, the details are in the backup and recovery guide. Rob Berendt
