Hi All We use a tool to add replicate data from AS400 to Oracle. The tool attaches the file to a single journal created for the purpose. A continuous Batch job runs, which picks up the changes from the Journal receiver and replicates to the Oracle database using TCP/IP protocol. At end of day, all processed journal receivers are removed from the system. Question: Will journaling a file with 51 million records impact the system performance / auxiliary storage space? Assuming any changes to records of this file will be processed real-time and journal receiver would be removed daily. Thanks, Sachin
