Personally, I like the ftp method over the SAVRST... commands. 1 - Here, the transmission is so dang fast that the save consumes much more time. If a transmission blows up with SAVRST... you have to repeat all of the save time. 2 - If you use the ftp method and something goes funny with the restore. (need to create missing owner profile, need to restore twice - second time with MBROPT(*NEW) to get library spanning logicals) you don't have to redo the save or transmit time. 3 - As "Mordoc, the Preventor of Information Systems" I try to discourage SNA. I will not allow the config of AnyNet. All SNA traffic is routed over a lan of 100MB versus our GB lan. Rob Berendt
