That's not a bad option either.  I think this is on our plate also.  We're 
moving to a more central "alert" system to handle issues for everything IT 
and not just i5.  Having one central place to send alerts from makes a lot 
of sense.  Then, when it comes to other i5 issues you create an "alert" 
and route it to the alert processor.
