I recommend InfoManager -- see www.infomanagerinc.com for details.

Their OLAP engine runs natively on iSeries, originally written for the
AS/400, and is highly optimized to take advantage of features that are
unique to OS/400 and DB2/400 UDB.

You can also pull data from other platforms via SQL ... into your own
multidimensional cubes (residing on the iSeries) for analysis, etc.

IMHO, they have excellent products with really nice graphical front-ends
that run under Windows, or in a browser, etc. and access the engine on
the iSeries via TCP/IP sockets. They also have very nice interfaces into
Microsoft Excel, etc. Very nice digital dashboards, too.

Subject: Business Intelligence / Data Warehousing products

Hi all,

I have been asked about iSeries' products for Business Intelligence and/or
Data Warehousing. I know of a couple, but my colleague wants to know about
any "multi-platform" product that allows accessing either iSeries or
Windows/Unix data.

Thanks for your help,

Luis Rodríguez
