I would check for an open relay.  Someone has probably been using your
AS400 as a relay and you had a ton of crap that it re-tried / purged /
skipped.  If you use your AS400 for inbound mail, you need to configure
the SMTP server to only accept mail for hosted domains unless they are
on your local network.  If for outbound only, you do not need to forward
port 25 through your firewall.

Update:
I left the 'STRMSF' running.  After 3 DAYS it finally finished starting,
and 
my 3 QMS jobs are running in QSYSWRK subsystem. I was able to send an
email 
to my hotmail account using SNDDST, just like before all of this
happened.

Geez, 3 DAYS to start up.  I sure wonder what it was up to all of that
time.
