Yeef! *OUR* emulator (i.e., the one that comes in our 
ThinView and Wintouch products) always attempts to sign 
off the session whenever the emulation window is closed, 
and you quite literally have to rip the JVM out from under 
it (or disable SysRq signoffs) in order to stop it from 
doing so. Why can't IBM's *OWN* emulator do such a simple, 
obvious thing?
Then again, IBM's own emulator is also only slightly less 
butt-ugly than Rumba is . . . :-P
