One history lesson with development machines and SNDEMAIL. Development
machines were one of the first to get V5R3. SNDEMAIL uses the directory
/tmp to store some stuff in. In V5R3 they changed the directory /tmp to
"restrict rename, unlink" (you can see this property in iSeries
Navigator). And until they came out with a PTF, you could use iSeries
Navigator to change this property but the next IPL would set it back. The
ptf told it to stop setting it back. The problem with having this
attribute on is that YOU run the SNDEMAIL, then some server job running as
some system profile does the SMTP send. However it craps out because it
cannot delete the file in /tmp. Giving that profile *ALLOBJ does not
matter to the "restrict rename, unlink" attribute.
