From their current "news".... http://www.midrangenews.net/Detail.asp?ID=303
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ iSeries Revenues Drop 18% in Q-4Naturally, many iSeries end-users and ISV's who haven't made decisions about how and when they will migrate their applications are now seeking ways to move them to platforms that are not seeing this level of decline, such as Windows or Linux. Naturally, many companies are seeking the easiest, least cost and least time consuming way to migrate their iSeries applications and have found that INFINITE iSERIES from California Software provides a complete set of compilers, utilities and tools to accomplish the project on time and under budget. To find out more about migrating iSeries applications to Windows or Linux, visit www.californiasoftware.com
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "Naturally"???? "move them to platforms that are not seeing this level of decline"????I was going to be surprised by this "news", but then I realized the source. I do hope that this kind of complete MISinformation is not taken seriously by the IT community, and that iSeries customers are not duped into thinking that the iSeries is in decline or that Windows projects are more "on time and under budget" than any other solution.
