I will assume that the job never gets changed to *DFT or *SYSRPYL mid
stream.  If the job or subsystem was ended it will take the default.  It
will also take the default if someone did a F11/F13 to remove messages on
the queue.  If it was a QSYSOPR message look at DSPLOG and find the reply.
That may help determine what happened.
