"this is a good subject for a Friday afternoon" How true. FYI, I've been forwarding most of this conversation to my wife. She's in charge of managing the migration of a pc/ms based software package into her i5 environment. Her project is due to the merger of the local medical college into the local university (now making our local university the third largest university in Ohio.) She asked me to put a post on midrange-l asking for the "elevator speech" about why the iSeries is not old technology. She had heard some concerns about "green bar" reports being "old technology" from the medical college people. You guys are doing a great job and giving me plenty of ammo to forward to her. The timing of this conversation couldn't be better. Oh and I also sent her a link to the IBM website with the laughing boardroom videos.
