It would depend on where the bottleneck lies. One simple suggestion is to submit the changes to batch, but don't do them all at once. Instead of CHGPGM lib/*ALL submit 26 jobs: CHGPGM lib/A* CHGPGM lib/B* etc. (submit the first then F9 change the letter, wash, rinse, repeat). The time to change any program shouldn't change much if at all but you may be able to reduce the overall time as you'd be taking advantage of multitasking. John A. I am running the process on an 820 (I know it is old) and it takes about 13 seconds to process each program. Based upon the number of programs I have to process in one library alone, it will take well over 9 hours to process. -- This is the Midrange Systems Technical Discussion (MIDRANGE-L) mailing list To post a message email: MIDRANGE-L@xxxxxxxxxxxx To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, visit: http://lists.midrange.com/mailman/listinfo/midrange-l or email: MIDRANGE-L-request@xxxxxxxxxxxx Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives at http://archive.midrange.com/midrange-l.
